Maitre Delice Rocket is an artisanal French hot sauce built around smoked chipotle and sweet piquillo pepper. Chipotle gives the sauce its full smoky character, while habanero provides a distinct heat. Date paste and maple syrup add gentle sweetness and round out the flavour without masking the smoke.
At approximately 40,000 Scoville, Rocket is firmly hot while still allowing the food to remain the focus. Serve it with burgers, grilled meat, tacos, pizza or roasted vegetables. A small amount also works well in marinades and barbecue sauces.
