El Jefe is an Amsterdam-based creator of artisanal, Mexican-inspired hot sauces. After years in Texas and many travels through Mexico, the founder brought authentic chilies and salsa traditions to the Netherlands and started small-batch production in his “Factoria Picante” in 2014. The sauces range from mild and fruity (like Naranja or Verde) to extremely hot (such as the 7 Pot Brain Strain), are fully vegan, and free from unnecessary additives such as preservatives or added sugars
